Ranchi: Director of IB BD Sharma called on Chief Minister Raghubar Das in his chamber. Issues of ultra menace and its eradication were discussed in the meeting.
Sharma on the occasion assured all possible assistance to State Government in dealing with leftwing extremism.
Raghubar Das said that it was necessary to carry out development initiatives in areas plagued by leftwing extremism for its eradication along with putting in place security mechanism.
Skill-development programmes were carried out in big way in all extremist infested areas, he said. The CM said that besides government industry and corporate houses, Banks and public enterprises were also carrying out development initiatives under their CSR programmes.
The CM stressed on the fact agriculture activities would be strengthened in villages so that people living in rural areas get employment all through the year.
With this basic infrastructure including road, water, electricity would also be developed in villages, he said.
