Ghatsila, May 2: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) booth level workers on Thursday gathered at the Netaji Subhash Nagar Bhawan (Town Hall), as they convened to garner support for Samir Mohanty, the party candidate for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat. Chief Minister Champai Soren graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside JMM leaders including District President cum Ghatshila MLA Ramdas Soren and Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar, among others.
During his address at the conference, CM Champai Soren rallied participants to emulate the success of the recent assembly elections by ensuring Mohanty’s triumph in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. Soren emphasized the pivotal role of the booth committees and urged workers to undertake their responsibilities diligently. Criticizing the central government, Soren highlighted rising unemployment and inflation under the Modi administration, advocating for the India Alliance as a pathway to national development. The event concluded with fervent pledges of support and preparation for Mohanty’s upcoming nomination filing on May 3.
