Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday attended the foundation day celebrations of Sri Sri Chandra Mouleshwar Mahadev Kutchery Baba temple and prayed for the peace and prosperity of Jharkhand. Women devotees on the ocassion
vied for selfie with the CM.
The celebrations will start tomorrow. Preparations for the grand event have been completed. The temple management committee made special preparations for the grand event. A religious ceremony marked the beginning of the celebrations. A Kalash Yatra was also taken out from the temple around 9.30 am were more than 500 women carried Kalash on their heads to fetch water from river to the temple. Thereafter, Jalabhishek ceremony was performed at the temple.
To make the event successful, mandir committee patron Dilip Jaisawal, Akhilesh Dixit, President Ajay Singh, Neelam Pandey, Uttam Chakravarty, Anil Pathak, Rajeev Pathak, Pundit Jaikrishna Jha, Pundit Shyam Chandra Jha and Chanda Kumar Tiwary played a vital role.
