CM asks Jusco to prepare proposal for improving power supply in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 6: Chief Minister Raghubar Das Saturday directed Jusco authorities to prepare a proposal for improving power supply scenario in Jamshedpur. He advised them to hold a meeting with the state electricity department officials to formulate the proposal.

The CM gave the instructions at Circuit House during a meeting with East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla, SSP Anoop Birtharay, Jusco MD Tarun Daga and officials of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee. He asked the company officials to resolve the various issues pertaining to basic civic amenities with sensitivity. He directed them to hold camps in Birsanagar, Bagunhatu, Bagunnagar and Baridih Basti and provide water connection to local residents under the Moharda water supply project within 15 days.

Das said four power sub stations, situated in Uliyan, Bisanagar, Sidhgora and Chhota Govindpur, are to be handed over to Jusco for power supply in areas adjoining the city. He said a meeting would soon be convened in Ranchi.
