Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das appealed to Isha Foundation to save the rivers of the state and extend technical help. Different departments of the state will work together, he said.
Das said that the Foundation should work to maintain unchecked flow of the Swarnarekha river. The government will help in planting trees on either side of the river, he said while talking to a delegation of Isha Foundation led by Veena.
The Foundation members expressed interest in working in Jharkhand. The CM directed the state officials concerned to complete the process to sign an MoU with the Foundation.
Additional CS Amit Khare, Principal Secretary Sukhdeo Singh, Indu Sekhar Chaturvedi, Secretary Sunil Barnwal, K. K. Soan, Pooja Singhal and many other officials were present on this occasion.
