Ranchi, June 1: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today announced 1 lakh rupees reward for specially challenged cricketer Golu Ohedar and promised to accommodate Ohedar in government Job.
Das was addressing a gathering at Booty village, Ranchi after felicitating especially challenged cricketer Golu Ohedar. State government has made a provision of 3% reservation for especially challenged and 2% reservation for sports person ,added Das. Golu Ohedar represented Indian Specially Challenged cricket team in World Cup.
CM further announced that Jharkhand government is set to appoint 1 lakh people in this fiscal year. He said � to give employment to locals government has announced the domicile policy and now local people will be beneficiaries in district wise appointments.
State government has initiated several schemes for self-employment training and 26 thousand self help groups has been involved for vocational training of women . Youths of state are also been trained and they are being provided Mudra Loan to start their own venture, said, CM.
Citing �BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO� campaign of PM Mr. Narendra Modi, CM said- under age marriage is a crime .He motivated the gathering for girl education.
CM assured the gathering at booty village that proposed road and drainage work of their area will be started after rainy season and efforts are on to sort out low voltage power supply problem. Mr. das further said that government is trying for electrification of entire state by the end of march 2018.The remote villages are being lit with Solar energy .
