Seraikela, June 1: Seraikela district police has been active in making immediate arrests of the culprits.
Taking action against the murder of an old person in a village under Kuchai police station, police arrested the accused within 24 hours of complaint.
Another case was registered by Md. Irshad of Baliguma Village complaining that his two minor daughters were kidnapped. SP Inderjeet Mahatha took the lead in the matter and formed a team led by SDPO Seraikela.
The police raided several locations and arrested both the girls along with the culprits Rohan Pal alias Ragi and Nirmal Mandal alias bhenda and presented them before the court.
Seraikela Police Station incharge Jayprakash Rana, Sadar Police Station Vinod Kumar, women constable Sanju Devi and other officers were part of the team.
