Jamshedpur, Sept 14: The students of SD Public School in Govindpur observed a Cleanliness Fortnight. They not only ensured clan classrooms and premises but also moved around nearby areas comprising Dhanchatani, Khairbani and Loabasa colonies and cleaned the localities where appreciative denizens also joined them in their novel work. As a part of their awareness drive, the school children performed street corner plays (Nukkad Natak) themed on cleanliness. School principal Sashikant Singh said the students took a pledge on cleanliness took out rallies and made the people of the community aware of the need for cleanliness. The Cleanliness Fortnight was launched in the school on September 1.
