Hindi Divas observed in Baharagora, Nuwamundi DAV schools

Jamshedpur, Sept 14: Hindi Divas was celebrated in DAV schools in Baharagora and Nuwamundi with exciting programmes marking the events.

Hindi teacher at TPS DAV School in Baharagora Ram Pathak organized the event. Students narrated many facets about the national language. Ankita Das, a student of class VI recited a Hindi poem. Hindi teachers Sandip Kumar, Mamata Maity and Shrutialso gave their views on the propagation of Hindi. Former teacher of the school whose appointment has been made in the high school was given a warm farewell by faculty and students. Speaking on the occasion, the school principal Anup Kumar wished the teacher a successful life and observed, �Continue to create the light of learning wherever you are.�

Hindi Fortnight was formally launched at Tata DAV Public School in Nuwamundi by the school principal Tarun Kumar Mishra. Speaking on the occasion he said, �Hindi is the heartbeat of the nation. It is the voice of the conscience. Hence we should ensure that the Hindi language lives on and grows. Hindi binds the country and we should take a pledge to nurture our national language.�

Due to the ongoing half yearly examinations, all students will participate in the Hindi Fortnight at a later date. The closing ceremony will be held on September 28. Hindi teacher Arun Kumar Mishra also spoke on the occasion. Music teacher Rashmi Bhattacharya presented a song based on a poem by Jaishankar Prasad.
