Jamshedpur, Sept 14: A meeting of the women�s wing of AJSU Party was held at the Community Hall at Guria Maidan in Birsanagar where newly joined members were inducted into the party folds with garlands present by chief guest and the party�s city convener Vandana Namta. Addressing the new members, Rekha observed, �We are all elated at your joining the AJSU Party family. The joy is doubled as our party supremo Sudesh Mahto is seriously thinking on the lines of women�s empowerment whereby we (women) will stand to participate in 50 percent development activities at par with our menfolk.� Among others who spoke on the occasion were Putul Singh, Ekta Gupta and Rani Singh.
Those who joined the AJSU women�s wing today were Lali Devi, Kaushalya Devi, Saraswati Karmakar, Pari Devi, Sunita Lohar, Podmi Tantubai, Puja Karmakar, Lakshmi Tantubai, Kajal Mona, Marfed Francis, Janki Karmakar, Visakha Rani Shandil, Pratima Swansi, Pushpa Devi, Murari Patro, Malati Devi and Rina Singh.
