Jamshedpur, July 25: The Zonal Carrom selection trial 2024 for the schools of Jamshedpur Zone under the CISCE Board commenced at RMS High School Balichela, Sonari on Thursday. The two-day was inaugurated with a vibrant cultural program.

The Principal of RMS High School, Pratima Sinha, welcomed the guests, including the chief guest, District Sports Officer Avinesh Kumar Tripathi, who inaugurated the competition by hoisting the flag. Other distinguished attendees included Sanjay Kedia, President of Rajasthan Maitri Sangh, Academic Head VK Tulsiyan, RK Jhunjhunwala, Babita Kedia, Vandana Jain, Secretary Sushil Agarwal, and principals of various schools.

District Sports Officer Avinesh Kumar Tripathi extended his best wishes and congratulations to the participants, praising the preparations for the Selection Trial Competition 2024. The chief guest and special guests were honored with mementos and robes by the School Management Committee.

The competition features 250 students from CISCE Board schools across the city. On the first day, league matches were conducted in all three categories for boys. The principal, teachers, and judges from the East Singhbhum District Carrom Association played pivotal roles in ensuring the success of the event.
