Jamshedpur, Oct 24: CII Jharkhand is organizing CII Safety Talk & Exhibition on 25-26 October 2024 at hotel in Adityapur with a focus of worldwide attention towards safety. The forum will gather national and international experts in the field with a united goal of “Equitable and sustainable strategies: Building a safer future for all.”
Jharkhand’s biggest & only exhibition and conference on safety will feature 40 plus exhibitors with 2000 plus business visitors from Eastern Region – Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Odisha & Bihar, said Tapas Sahu, Past Chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council & Managing Director & CEO, Highco Engineers Pvt Ltd.
He informed that 350 plus delegates along with 35 plus speakers will deliberate on topics such as Application of AI/ ML and Digital in Road Safety and in Workplace Safety, Elevating Safety: Best Practices for Working at Height, Thriving Together: Enhancing Health and Wellbeing at Work, Safety Measures in MSMEs, Pathway to Zero Harm: Achieving a Safer Future, Best Safety Practices in Engine Test Cells and Safety in Motion: Best Practices for Process Safety
“The main motive behind the symposium is to develop safety culture among all and aware people about how to apply safety and implement safety in everyday life,” said Ritu Raj Sinha, Vice Chairman of the CII Jharkhand State Council and Managing Director of Tata Steel UISL.
Addressing a press meet at CFE on Thursday, Sinha stated that safety awareness plays a critical role in equipping with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect oneself and others from potential hazards. Consciousness about road safety, fire safety, and other safety measures empowers all to make informed decisions, develop responsible behaviours, and create a safer environment for communities.
“Workplace safety has become one of the main priorities for organizations across the world. As safe workplaces are also productive ones, employers are constantly investing and trying to find new ways to keep their remote, frontline, and in-office employees safe and healthy. Employees appreciate safe working environments, which is a sign that their employer cares about their wellbeing, added Tata Steel UISL MD.
Tapas Sahu further said that industry experts from around the globe will share their experiences with participants, making this an ideal platform to learn about both international and national safety practices.
The conference would have participation from the key sectors like Auto & Auto Components, Steel, Mining, Heavy Industries, Cements, Technology, Academics etc.
The exhibition will feature cutting-edge safety technologies and products, showcasing the latest innovations in the industry. Exhibitors from across the country will be showcasing their offerings, with around 40 different companies participating at the CII Safety Exhibition.
