Jamshedpur, Sept. 29: As part of an awareness and support campaign about Menstrual Health and Hygiene, CII Indian Women Network Jharkhand under its Health and Wellbeing vertical installed a Sanitary Napkin Incinerator, supported by The ISWP Ltd., at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Potka on Friday.
Happy Mukherjee, Chairwoman, IWN Jharkhand and Head GM Purchase, Tata Cummins Pvt. Ltd. said the initiative is absolutely environment friendly and would help to preserve the cleanliness of Mother earth. Also it will ensure the solid waste disposal will be minimal.
The other members of CII IWN present were Kanchan Kumari, DGM Quality, Tata Cummins Pvt. Ltd., Swastika Basu, Chief Enterprise Risk Management, Tata Steel, Shreedhara Goswami, Assistant Manager, The ISWP Ltd. and Principal, Teachers and Students of KGBV amongst others.
