Jamshedpur, Sept 8: Immortal poet, Robert Frost had once observed, “Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words,” and this view was re-substantiated when participating students effused confidence with fine tonal nuances during their recitations that spun a mesmeric web of exultation and joy in the packed auditorium during the Choral Recitation Competition -2023. The incredible maturity of participants from UKG to Class III had never earlier been so beautifully exposed.
The enthralling performances highlighted the excitement and spirit of a healthy competition. An excited Fr Gerry D Souza said, “Such competitions are a platform for young talents to develop confidence for speaking fluently and coherently.”
The judges Father Gautam, Teacher Colleen Xavier and Teacher Sweta Sanyal were unanimous in their appreciation of the presentations by the confident young ‘experts of this form of performing art.’ The Winners of the competition were presented awards by the Principal, Charanjeet Ohson.
Behind the superlative performances of the children in the Choral Recitation Competition, were the dedicated efforts of indefatigable guides in the form of teachers Kanchan, Sofia Selvaraj, Jasmine, Soni Kumari, Kishore and the team members led by Fr Gerry D Souza, the School Administrator.
