Jamshedpur: The finals of the Tata Motors Football Tournament 2025 concluded at the Sumant Mulgaonkar Stadium in Telco with two thrilling matches in the Inter-School and Inter-Team categories.
In the school category final, Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya defeated Hill Top School with a dominant performance, scoring 4 goals to claim the championship. Hill Top School finished as the runner-up.
The inter-team final between Prima Challengers and Indigo Fighters ended in a 1-1 draw in regular time. The winner was decided through an intense penalty shootout, where Prima Challengers emerged victorious after a gripping 12-12 shootout round.
Akash Karmakar of Chinmaya Vidyalaya was awarded Best Player in the school category, while Madhu Singh Kuntia of Indigo Fighters earned the Best Player title in the company category for his outstanding goalkeeping.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Tata Motors General Manager Mr. Sanjay Singha, GM Golam Mandol, Admin Head VN Singh, Town Admin Head Rajat Kumar Singh, Principal Meena Vilkhu (Chinmaya Vidyalaya), Principal Uma Tiwari (Hill Top School), and Jamshedpur FC player Nikhil Barla, who congratulated the players and encouraged them for future success.
