Ananna Dutta takes over as President of Rotary Jamshedpur Green

Jamshedpur, July 17: The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Green hosted its 2nd installation ceremony, marking a new chapter in leadership. Ananna Dutta was officially installed as the President for the Rotary Year 2025–26, while Neelam Jayaswal took over as Club Secretary. The ceremony was graced by Sourav Roy, Chief of Corporate Social Responsibility, as the Chief Guest.

Outgoing Secretary Mamta Mishra handed over the Secretary Collar to Neelam Jayaswal, and PDG Pratim Banerjee presented Rotary pins to the newly inducted board members. The event also featured a presentation highlighting the impactful projects carried out by the Club in the past year. Distinguished guests included PDG Pratim Banerjee, PDG Dr. R. Bharat, PDG Sanjeev Thakur, and PDG Ronald D’Costa.

In line with the Club’s ‘Green’ theme, guests were presented handcrafted paper items made by underprivileged women from the Saheli Centre, an initiative supported by the Club.

Four new members were inducted into the Club during the event. The occasion saw participation from several Rotarians including Kusum Thakur, Dr. Ekta, Mamta Mishra, Pradip Mishra, Ekta Satija, Arun Jha, Souvik, Faizal Imam, Sarojit Dutta, and Minibala Soren.
