Jamshedpur, June 14: Jamshedpur Police has started a new initiative to deal with any emergency and prevent criminal activities.
Under this, check posts will be constructed in various border areas of the city. This checkposts will be ready in the next two months.
The posts after being functional would help the police to seal the city at a single point of time immediately after any emergency or criminal incident so that criminals cannot escape from the city.
Regarding this, preparations have been started in full swing under the instructions of SSP Prabhat Kumar of the district. Not only this, the construction work of checkposts has also been started at many places. Construction work is being done in these areas.
The places where the construction of these police checkposts has been started include Bistupur Kharkai Bridge, Kadma Marine Drive, Pardih Chowk and Govindpur Anna Chowk, while the construction work on Kadma Toll Bridge is going to start soon. . Apart from this, a check post will also be constructed near Sakchi main roundabout. The place has been marked for all the posts.
After the functioning of these posts no one will be able to enter the city and no one will be able to go out of the city after sealing is done. Such an arrangement in the city would prove to be very effective in catching the criminals.
Prabhat Kumar said that all the checkposts will be ready in two months, which will greatly benefit the residents of the city.
