Jharkhand CM to hand over job letters to panchayat secy on June 22

Ranchi: On June 22, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will give appointment letters to the candidates who have passed the panchayat secretary exam at Morabadi ground in Ranchi on June 22.

Rajeev Arun Ekka, principal secretary, Panchayat Raj Department, has sent a letter regarding this to the DCs of all the districts. In the letter, all the DCs have been instructed to complete all necessary preparations regarding the appointment of the passed candidates for the post of panchayat secretary of the concerned district and make available the list of all the candidates appearing in the program and a copy of the appointment letter by June 15.

Incidentally, in 2017 the posts of panchayat secretaries was advertised and written test was conducted in 2018. The result was released in February 2019. Skill test and Hindi typing test of the candidates passed in the written examination were taken. Now in 2023 the candidates are being given appointment letters.
