Gamharia: Gamharia police have filed chargesheet against the Seraikela MLA Champai Soren in connection with the bombing case of 1993.
SP Chandan Kumar Sinha said a bomb blast had taken place in Mahuldih under Gamharia police station area. Many lives were lost in the incident. An FIR was lodged at the Gamharia PS in this connection. Champai Soren and several others were named in the case. Later, Soren�s name was removed from the chargesheet.
After some time, the state government ordered reopening of the case. A fresh investigation was conducted and the complaint was found to be true, said the SP.
