Two city theatre teams bag awards at Agra and Delhi

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Sanskritik Manch bagged appreciation and awards at the 2018 ‘Rangoday’ all India drama competition organized by the Agra unit of Sanskar Bharti. They presented the play, Gharaunda for which the team bagged the third prize in the Best Play category, Best Director’s (third best) Award to Shivlal Sagar and Best Character Actor’s Award to Akash Kumar Jha.

Four other artistes were also honored by the organizers. They were Diwakar Kumar Chaudhary, Mayuri Nanda, Suprit Kaur and Nitin Lohar.

At Gurugram in Delhi, in the All India Drama Competition organized by Nishtha Sanskritik Manch, Sagar Acting Institute secured three awards for its presentation of ‘Shobha.’ The second Best Actor’s award was given to Fayaz Ahmad Ansari, Best Character Actor to Nitin Lohar and the fourth place in the category of Best Play Award.
