Seraikela, June 24 : On the directives of Jharkhand Minister for Transport and Tribal Welfare, Champai Soren, six villages were to be developed as Upgraded Villages under the government’s Scheduled Caste Unnat Gram Yojana that included Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minorities and Backward Classes. This scheme was launched by the Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand.
A scheme implementation committee was constituted in Jhordih village under Seraikela block with Mangala Nayak being elected President, Krishna Nayak Secretary, Sushila Nayak as Treasurer and Pramila Hembram, Prashant Kumar Sahu, Surbali Nayak, Doman Nayak, Shakuntala Nayak, Kanchan Nayak and Dev Kumar Nayak as committee members.
Zila Parishad President Sonaram Bodra was present during the Gram Sabha. He said that the government was serious on village development. The scheme allows for the development of basic facilities. the development of villages. In this episode, the welfare department has been identified as advanced village development. Under the scheme, basic facilities will be developed in these villages.
