Chaibasa: Contract teachers meet Deepak Birua, demand regularization

Chaibasa, Dec 13: A delegation of members of Jharkhand Constituent College Intermediate Contract Teaching and Non-teaching Employees Front, Women’s College Chaibasa unit, met the Chaibasa MLA Deepak Birua on Tuesday with the demand for regularization. The outfit members handed a memorandum to the MLA at Sarnadih in this connection.

The outfit members said the implementation of the New Education Policy 2020 would make the Intermediate department redundant and render many teaching and non-teaching staff jobless. Such staff should be inducted in plus two schools, they said.

Birua assured to raise the various demands of the outfit members before the state government. He said the problems of teaching and non-teaching staff of government colleges would be resolved very soon.
