CGPC Jamshedpur launches logo

Jamshedpur: Central Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee ( CGPC), the apex body of the Sikhs of Kolhan, released its logo on Friday.

It was jointly inaugurated by Sardar Bhagwan Singh, president, CGPC, Patron and General Secretary of Takht Shri Harmandir Patna Sahib, Sardar Inderjit Singh, chairman of Jharkhand Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sardar Shailendra Singh, patron Sardar Gurdeep Singh Pappu, logo designer Jagtar Singh Nagi at Sakchi office of the committee.

According to Sardar Indrajit Singh, Sardar Shailendra Singh, Sardar Bhagwan Singh, Sardar Gurdeep Singh Pappu, this organisation is more than 80 years old and still it has not been serious about the logo. The president expressed his gratitude to Jagtar Singh Nagi that he has shown a sense of belonging to the organisation and people will remain sensitive towards this symbol.

According to Nagi, any organisation has its own symbol and CGPC didn’t have its logo, which made him concerned. According to him, the Sikh religion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji believes in Ik Onkar i.e. One God, One Family and it has been given a place and with this, Guru Hargobindji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji transformed it into a martial community. The logo has been designed accordingly.

According to Satbir Singh Somu, former head of the Central Naujawan Sabha, Nagi has done commendable work.

On the occasion, Kulwinder Singh, Harjinder Singh, Jagjit Singh Gandhi, advisor Gurcharan Singh Billa, cashier Gurnam Singh, Chairman Mango Kulwinder Singh Pannu, Shamsher Singh Shinda, Jaswant Singh, Sukhwant Singh, Daljit Singh, Trilochan Singh etc. were present on the occasion.
