CGPC honors 82 meritorious Jamshedpur students

Jamshedpur, May 28: The Central Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (CGPC) premises in Sakchi became the venue for an inspiring event on Sunday as the Pratibha Samman ceremony took place. CGPC President Bhagwan Singh took the honor of recognizing and felicitating meritorious students with the prestigious “Bhai Gurdas Ji Samman.” During his address, he emphasized the importance of character development alongside knowledge acquisition as the key to a successful life and the ultimate goal of education. The proud parents of the students were also present to witness this momentous occasion.

A total of 82 Sikh students, who had excelled in their ICSE, CBSE, and Jack Board 10th and 12th examinations, were bestowed with the “Bhai Gurdas Ji Samman” souvenir and a copy of the Sikh Rahat Maryada. The ceremony’s top-performing students received special recognition from education wing officers Kulwinder Singh Pannu, Sardar Shailendra Singh, Gurmeet Singh Tote, Parvinder Singh Sohal, General Secretary Amarjeet Singh, and Sukhwant Singh Sukhu.

Amarjit Singh and Kulwinder Singh Pannu, the event organizers, expressed the need for further steps to be taken in the field of education. As a part of this initiative, CGPC announced free coaching for students in classes 11 and 12, and registration for the program is currently underway. Parvinder Singh Sohal urged interested students to promptly register at the CGPC office to secure their spots. The commendable contributions of Amarjit Singh, Kulwinder Singh Pannu, Gurmeet Singh Tote, Parvinder Singh Sohal, Gurcharan Singh Billa, Sukhwant Singh Sukhu, Sardar Shailendra Singh, Sukhdev Singh Bittu, Gurnam Singh Bedi, Chanchal Singh, Surendra Singh Chhinde, Kuldeep Singh Buge, and Jagtar Singh Nagi were recognized and appreciated for making the event a resounding success.
