Ranchi: Reviewing state administration at Project Building, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that all schemes of the Central government should be completed in a fixed timeframe. He asked state officials to focus on such projects. He said the districts lagging behind should be focused and if required, rules should be simplified.

The CM said the nodal officers should be deputed in every department to coordinate the works of his department, the Central government and the Accountant General. He said the nodal officers should issue utility certificate.

The state government has directed all the work departments not to cut TDS with GST by 31st March 2018. The directive was sent to the departments earlier as well. It was also told in the meeting that GST registration will not be must for those contractors having less than Rs 20 lakh annual turnover.

Treasuries of all the work departments have been told that for the requirement of stones and small minerals in fast disposal of schemes, double fund should be deposited in treasury and bill should be passed. It was reported that as per the new bill, instead of submitting double royalty, they were depositing double the price of mineral prices in some of the districts. So this directive was issued. At the same time, the govt. said to give lease permits of stones and small minerals to contractors to speed up development work, said the CM.

Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma, Additional CS Amit Khare, Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar and other senior officers of the state were also present at the meeting.
