Jamshedpur, August 11: As part of Aadi festival, Madrasi Sammelani in association with DBMS, today organized Carnatic classical music program at DBMS new auditorium.
Renowned Carnatic classical singer from Chennai, Vasanti Ramesh performed on the occasion. She was accompanied on Violin by Radhakrishnan and N Shankar on Mridangam. Vasanti Ramesh regaled the audience with her soulful renditions.
Earlier, G Shankar, President, Madrasi Sammelani, introduced the performing artists to the audience.
On the occasion, Madrasi Sammelani and DBMS jointly felicitated K S Narayan Vice President of Madrasi Sammelani and Vidya Narayan on their leaving Jamshedpur for Singapore.
At the conclusion of the program, the artists were honoured by B Chandrasekhar, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Madrasi Sammelani.
