Candlelight march at MGM Medical College to mourn the death of RIMS doctor

Jamshedpur: Following the tragic demise of junior doctor Madan Kumar M at RIMS, Ranchi, students from MGM Medical College organized a candlelight march to pay their respects. The candlelight procession commenced at the college campus and proceeded to Dimna Chowk, with numerous college students and interns participating.

During the march, students called for a thorough investigation into whether Madan’s death was a suicide or a potential homicide. They also emphasized the need for measures to prevent such incidents from occurring within the medical college. According to students, the deceased was a member of the FMT department and questioned the circumstances surrounding his death. They pondered why he chose self-immolation if he had intended to take his own life.

The recent discovery of the burnt body of Madan Kumar M, a junior doctor in RIMS’s FMT department, within the college hostel, has sparked concerns and calls for a comprehensive inquiry.
