Call to designate Gadda as a Martyr Model Village on Kharsawan Firing Anniversary

Jamshedpur: As the anniversary of the tragic Kharsawan firing approaches on January 1, 2024, a commemorative program is set to honor the sacrifice of martyrs. The Maa Nirso Seva Samiti, in a gesture of respect, will pay tribute to the families of four individuals from the Jamshedpur block area of Jharkhand who lost their lives during the incident.
Under the leadership of committee convener Birju Patro, the families of Martyr Gumang Samad of Tupudang, Martyr Chamru Samad of Dumkagoda, Martyr Sukha Bhumij of Govindpur, and Martyr Shibu Hembram of Gadda will be honored with Angavastra, symbolizing reverence for their supreme sacrifice.
In addition to the commemorative event, the committee plans to approach MLA Mangal Kalindi with a delegation. Their objective is to advocate for the designation of Gadda village as a Martyr Model Village, recognizing the profound impact and contributions made by the village’s brave individuals.
