Ranchi, April 26: Secretary to CM Sunil Kumar Burnwal issued show-cause notice to executive engineer of Chakradharpur road division for his alleged negligence in taking action against the culprits of sub-standard material supply.
Executive engineer was supposed to take action against the culprits who were involved in construction of Echakuti � Guibeda road construction and it had been established that they used below standard construction material for the above mentioned road construction work which was being constructed under PGSY Scheme.
Burnwal also ordered a district level enquiry committee to enquire about the entire episode. He was chairing weekly review meeting of Jan Samvad, at Soochna Bhawan, Ranchi on Tuesday.
Another show cause notice issued against District Superintendent of education, Ramgarh. Burnwal expressed his anger after reviewing case of pension disbursement. The case was related to Rijuram Mahto of Primary School, Lorpa. The school�s principal expired 6 years ago. Till date family pension file of the Principal was not cleared by the officials.
While reviewing the complaint lodged from Chandwara, Koderma, regarding bad state of transformer and electric supply wire, Burnwal asked the electricity officials about the status.
The officials replied that transformer and wire has been changed. Dissatisfied secretary ordered a magistrate enquiry of the complaint. He instructed nodal officer of Dhanbad to sort out the issue related to widow pension approval of complainant Gauri Devi.
During the review meeting a case from Dorai Santhali, Sahebganj, also came up. The complaint was related to fund crisis for the ongoing construction of Community Centre. Officials replied that there is no crisis of fund. The irritated secretary asked the officials, �If you have sufficient fund then why don�t you release it?�
While reviewing complaints from Kanda, Talir, Pipra, Pitko, Sinjo and Nawa Bazaar, Burnwal ordered the officials to sort out the issue within 48 hours. Burnwal asked the officials of High and technical education department to solve the issue of contract employee Bharat Lal Mahto.
While hearing fraudulent withdrawal case of Jharkhand Wrestling Association�s general secretary Bhola Nath Singh, secretary to CM asked the SSP for status report of the case.
Burnwal also settled case from Tangarbasuli and complaint of Kimmi Prasad Kumari. He warned the officials to sort out the issues on priority basis otherwise they will have to face harsh action.
