Burglary of 3.90 lakh in Jamshedpur, neighbour under radar

Jamshedpur, Apr 11: Burglars decamped with ornaments worth Rs 3.50 lakh and cash of Rs 40,000 from the house of Chandrama Yadav in Babudih Basti under Sidhgora thana area. 
The theft took place btween March 20 and April 10 and when on Sunday the owner family reached the house they got to know about the burglary. 
The family had gone to Bihar to attend cremation of Chandrama Yadav father on March 19. The owner has lodged a complaint at the thana suspecting that his neighbours Manoj Pandit and his wife Kavita Devi of being involved in the theft as he had given house keys to the neighbour while going to Bihar. 
The owner said that the main gate was not broken neither the gate on the roof of the house was broken but the burglars had broken the doors of the house to enter the rooms and broken the almirah lock to take away ornaments and cash. The ornaments were meant for the wedding of their daughter on May 7.
