Burglary at Mango, family alleges attempt to destroy evidence

Jamshedpur, August 16:. By breaking the door of the house of Mamta Devi, a resident of Krishna Nagar, Post Office Road under Mango police station, the thieves stole gold ornaments worth about five lakh rupees, fifty thousand rupees in cash and a bike.

Mamta Devi does typewriting work in the court. It is said that on Monday night, Mamta Devi and her family members had gone to a program organized by a relative living in the neighborhood. Due to the late night, they stayed at their relative’s house. When Mamta Devi returned to her home at 5 am on Tuesday, she found the lock of the main door of the house broken. The locker of the almirah was also broken and all the household items were scattered. The bike parked in the verandah of the house was also missing.

Mamta Devi told that her younger son had committed suicide in the same room in which the theft took place about one and a half months ago. But even today the family members do not consider that incident as suicide, but consider it as murder.

Mamta Devi told that along with all the necessary documents of her dead son, the death certificate and post mortem report were kept in the cupboard and was taken away by the thieves.

Mamta Devi informed this to BJP leader Vikas Singh and complained son was murdered and the criminals had carried out this theft incident only to destroy the evidence of the murder.
