Jamshedpur, Oct 16: Former Jamshedpur Lok Sabha candidate and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Pranav Mahato announced that, following the directives of BSP supremo and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, the party intends to contest elections across all seats in the Jharkhand Assembly. Mahato confirmed that the BSP will compete for all six assembly seats in the East Singhbhum region.
Currently, discussions are underway regarding the potential candidates for these positions. Mahato indicated that BSP Jharkhand in-charge Dinkar ji and state president Rajan Mehta are expected to make an official announcement regarding the candidates soon. This move marks a significant step for the BSP as it seeks to strengthen its presence in Jharkhand’s political landscape ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
