Jamshedpur, Oct 16: CCTV footage has emerged in the case of a break-in involving the car of Akash Modi, an executive member of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), parked in front of the Chamber’s building in Bistupur. The footage shows an individual conducting reconnaissance around Modi’s vehicle before breaking the glass. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning, resulting in the theft of a laptop bag, cash, and important documents from inside the car.
After discovering the vandalism, Akash Modi notified Chamber president Vijay Anand Moonka, who immediately reported the incident to the police. Utilizing the nearby CCTV footage, the police are actively working to identify and apprehend the suspect. Despite the presence of police patrols in the area, the brazen act has raised concerns among local business members.
