Jamshedpur, Oct 16: The Kali Puja organized by the Navayuvak Chetna Manch at Golmuri Joggers Park in Jamshedpur is set to embrace a unique initiative this year, emphasizing the empowerment of women. The newly expanded committee has appointed Vidya Bhushan Mishra as the President and retired Deputy Superintendent of Police Kamal Kishore as the Chief Patron. Dr. Kundan Singh will serve as the main coordinator for this year’s event.

In a commendable move, the committee has decided to allow five respected women from the city, alongside five mothers from an old age home and the mothers of committee members, to collectively inaugurate the Kali Puja pandal. This initiative aims to honor the significant role of women in society and promote a sense of unity and dedication among the community.

The grand inauguration of the pandal will take place on October 30, followed by a special aarti at midnight on October 31. Additionally, Mahaprasad will be distributed on November 2. A fair is also being organized from October 30, expecting large participation from the local community. Notable attendees at the announcement included Umesh Prasad, Arvind Pandey, and several other community members, all supporting the initiative to recognize women’s contributions and strengthen societal bonds.
