Jamshedpur, Oct 29: A literary milestone was achieved on Saturday with the release of the book “Aarohan,” authored by twenty-eight accomplished women writers. The event took place in the Prayag room of Tulsi Bhawan, situated in Bistupur, under the auspices of the Women’s Dimension of the All India Grahak Panchayat.
The program was graced by the presence of notable dignitaries, including Padmashree Chhutni Mahato as the chief guest, Dr. Mudita Chandra, a prominent litterateur, as the keynote speaker, Shivaji Kranti, ABGP State Organization Minister, and Krishna Sinha, a renowned theater artist and Vice President of ABGP East Singhbhum. The program was presided over by Dineshwar Prasad Singh Dinesh, a distinguished litterateur and former editor of Prabhat Khabar.
The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and the offering of flowers to the images of Bharat Mata and Swami Vivekananda. Dolly Parihar, a member of ABGP’s publicity team, presented a special tribute to Mother India. Subsequently, the book “Aarohan” was jointly unveiled by all the esteemed guests.
The book “Aarohan” showcases the literary journey of the twenty-eight talented writers. The book’s editors are Dr. Anita Sharma, an accomplished educationist and litterateur, and Dr. Kalyani Kabir.
The contributing authors to “Aarohan” are Dr. Asha Gupta ‘Shreya’, Angel Upadhyay, Madhuri Mishra, Dr. Anita Sharma, Dr. Kalyani Kabir, Aarti Srivastava Vipula, Mamta Singh, Neeta Sagar Chaudhary, Nivedita Srivastava, Upasana Sinha, Dr. Anita Nidhi, Sarita Singh, Saroj Singh Parmar

The program was onducted by Dr. Anita Sharma, and the welcome address was delivered by Dr. Kalyani Kabir. Krishna Sinha extended his gratitude in the vote of thanks. The successful execution of the event was made possible with the commendable efforts of several individuals, including All India Grahak Panchayat Treasurer Chandranath Banerjee, East Singhbhum President Pappu Singh, Mahila Dimension Head Sarita Singh, and others.
The program also saw the presence of distinguished personalities such as Sanjay Mishra, the editor of Prabhat Khabar, social activist Manju Thakur, educationist and litterateur Dr. Ragini Bhushan, and Dr. Poonam Sahay. The book release event was attended by all the women writers and members of the Mahila Dimension Grahak Panchayat, making it a momentous occasion in the realm of literature and women’s empowerment.
