Jamshedpur, Sept. 11: In a shocking incident, Jadugora police on Friday recovered two dead bodies from a well in the verandah of the house in Sarjom Tola, Rajdoha village. The deceased have been identified as mother Geeta Mardi, 22 year-old and 2-yr-old daughter. Police took possession of the body and has sent it for post-mortem. Police has started investigation into the matter and is waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain if the matter is linked to murder or is a suicide. According to reports, the deceased Geeta Mardi married Bariyar Mardi of Sarjom Tola in Rajdoha village five year back. Bariyar works as a labourer. Controversy escalated between the couple and Geeta along with her daughter jumped into the well and end it all.
Police with the help of a rope took out the body of the deceased and started the investigation into the matter. Geeta was a resident of Kedo village in Sundernagar Police Station area. Since the event unfolded Bariyar along with his mother Soru Mardi have fled the scene. Bariyar basically belongs to Jhupal village under Rajnagar Police Station but was living in Rajdoha village for past few years.
