Jamshedpur, May 16: The Outreach Department of Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC) organized blood donation camp on 16th May 2025. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 200 units of blood collected from enthusiastic donors.

This marked the sixth blood donation drive hosted at the MTMC campus, reinforcing the institution’s ongoing commitment to community welfare and healthcare outreach.
The event was graced by Dr. Khyati Shukla Mittal as the Chief Guest, who lauded the efforts of the organizers and appreciated the voluntary spirit of the donors. The program was also attended by Dr. Harish Chander Bandhu, Dean In-Charge, who emphasized the importance of regular blood donation and its impact on emergency medical care.
Students, faculty members, staff, and local community members actively participated in the camp, making it a grand success. All donors were screened and guided by trained medical professionals to ensure safe and hygienic blood collection.
This was the first time that donors were from outside the campus also and was supported by NCC Cadets and Tata Workers Union as donors.
