Gamharia, March 4: A blood donation camp was organized on Saturday by the Department of National Service Scheme at XITE College, Gamharia on Saturday.
The camp was inaugurated by the chief guest Sunil Mukherjee, founder president of VBDA, Jamshedpur.
He said that blood donation is a noble cause which can help the society at large.
A total of 31 units of blood were collected during the camp.
College Principal Dr Father Francis, Deputy Principal Father Mukti, Dr Partha Priya Das, Prof Dr Radha Mahali, Prof Shalu Kant, Prof Riya Basu, Prof Nishith, Dr Pramod, Prof Shailesh, Prof Amit, William, Sandeep Singh, Program Officer Naval Narayan Chowdhary and others contributed in making the camp successful.
