Ranchi, Nov 23: BJP leader CP Singh has secured his seventh consecutive victory from the Ranchi assembly seat, defeating JMM’s Mahua Maji by a margin of 21,949 votes. The seasoned politician expressed gratitude to the people of Ranchi.
“I was confident during the campaign that I would receive the blessings of Ranchi’s residents. I am honored to fulfill this responsibility once again,” Singh said.
Despite his party’s mixed results in the state, Singh extended congratulations to Chief Minister Hemant Soren for his party’s overall success. “Though he is from the opposition, he is still the Chief Minister, and congratulating him is appropriate,” Singh said.
When questioned about BJP’s underwhelming performance in other seats, Singh noted that the reasons would be analyzed internally within the party. His win cements his position as a prominent figure in Ranchi politics.
