Jamshedpur, June 27: The women�s wing of BJP today felicitated Birsanagar resident Vandana Pentakota who was recently crowned Mrs India Curvy at a recent fashion show held in Mumbai. She was felicitated at the BJP�s district headquarters in Sakchi. The Mahila Morcha president Niru Singh greeted Vandana Pentakota with a flower bouquet. BJP district president Dinesh Kumar was present at the function. He congratulated her on her achievement and bringing further glory to the state, district and city. He wished her success in future.
In her address, Vandana Pentakota said that she was the mother of two daughters. She said, �I had a deep inclination towards fashion shows and modeling. My husband, PV Shekhar has always been supportive and whatever I have achieved thus far is due to him.�
Vandana further informed, �The competition for the event was conducted across the country. 30 women had been selected including me and we reported at Mumbai for the final rounds. There were five rounds and I was declared Mrs India Curvy � 2019. In addition, I also received The Social Media Queen award.�
Others present on the occasion included Hemlata Patro, Sonia Sahu, Renu Sinha, Anil Modi and Rakesh Singh.
