Jamshedpur, June 27: Dayanand Public School (DPS) organised Achievers Award to felicitate the meritorious students who performed brilliantly in academics. The students excelled in the 2018-19 in board examination were recognized. All the subject toppers were also awarded.
Cash prize were awarded to the students under the scholarship scheme announced by the school management.
Under the scheme following students received the cash amount- Vikas Kumar ISC Science got cash award of Rs 20,000. Sukhbir Singh ISC Commerce also got Rs 20,000 cash. Nilofar Naaz of ICSE Science, Sobhojeet Biswas of ICSE Science, Aditi Kumari of ICSE Science, Ekta Keshri of ICSE Commerce and Sourav Kumar Dey of class 9 received Rs 15000 cash award each. The Chief Guest was Dr. R.N. Sharma, Chairman, Jamshedpur Arya Samaj Trust. In his speech he said that parents should allow the children to choose the career they want.
Prem Sagar, R.C. Nandarjog, Devender Chatrath, and. Rajiv Talwar, Trustees of the Jamshedpur Arya Samaj Trust were present during the occasion.
