Jamshedpur, July 6: Bharatiya Janata Party is moving on the path of cultural nationalism as dreamt by the party ideologue Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Abolition of Article 370 and bring back Jammu and Kashmir to the national mainstream was an important step in this direction. Dr Mukherjee wanted our nation to move on the path of cultural nationalism and integrity. This was observed on Wednesday by the MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato during the celebration of 121^st birth anniversary of the BJP ideologue at the party’s Sakchi office.

Addressing party workers, Mahato remembered Dr Mukherjee as a leader who devoted and sacrificed his life for national unity and integrity. PM Narendra Modi is putting in sincerest efforts to make Dr Mukherjee’s dreams come true, he said.

Also present on the occasion, state BJP spokesperson Kunal Sarangi said Dr Mukherjee had made great sacrifice for the nation. He called on all youths to follow the footsteps of Dr Mukherjee and disseminate his ideology among the masses. He said Dr Mukherjee stressed on education, health and industrial development as pillars of a strong nation.

District BJP president Gunjan Yadav said Dr Mukherjee would keep inspiring the coming generations with his thoughts on nationalism.

BJP celebrated Dr Mukherjee’s birth anniversary in all 28 Mandal units of the party across East Singhbhum. Party leaders paid floral tributes to the party ideologue and took a pledge to follow his principles in life.

Sonari: BJP Kisan Morcha

The Sonari Mandal of BJP Kisan Morcha observed the birth anniversary of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee as per guidelines of the state leadership. Among those who paid tribute to Dr Mukherjee included Kisan Morcha State Vice President Rajkumar Singh, Manik Singh, Kishore Ojha, Sashank Shekhar, Subodh Karmakar, Ghanshyam, Vice President Som, Chandan Mukhi, Ravi Tiwari, Raja Sakre, Sukhdev Singh and Kamal Verma.

Parsudih BJP Mandal

BJP Parsudih Mandal observed the birth anniversary of Dr Shama Prasad Mukherjee by garlanding a photograph of the leader and pledged to follow his ideals. BJP State Kisan Morcha Vice-President Raj Kumar Singh was honored on the occasion with a bouquet and angavastram. The BJP members of Parsudih Mandal expressed their thanks to Rajkumar Singh whose leadership during the Panchayat elections ensured the victory of their candidates to form the Panchayat Samiti. Those present on the occasion included Tridib Chattoraj, Sujit Ambastha, Kusum Purty, Devendra Kumar Singh, Ramesh Upadhyay, Ravinder Singh, Manoj Vishwakarma and Ajit Gupta.

The birth anniversary of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was celebrated by the BJP Sonari Mandal at its Gudri Bazaar office. Members paid tributes to the leader by garlanding a photograph of his. Later, as a tribute to dr Mukherjee, the Sonari Mandal members planted saplings at the joggers’ park in Sonari. Virendra Pratap Singh, Narayan Prasad, Rahul Tiwari, Sanjay Rajak, Satendra Singh Yadav, Sushil Hessa and Rajpal Singh spoke on various aspects of the life and work of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

Khasmahal Shyama Prasad Vidya Bhavan

The Alumni Association of Shyama Prasad High School paid homage to the iconic Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his birth anniversary by offering floral tributes at the statue of the iconic leader. The programme was organized at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Vidya Bhawan premises. The members recalled the laying of the school’s foundation stone and later inaugurating the school building by Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee himself. The Alumni Association members present on the occasion included Prabal Dev, Tridib Chattaraj, Ripan Das, Shampa De and Anupam Dhar.
