Jamshedpur, July 6: The Induction ceremony of new members was organized by Rotaract Club of Karim City College (KCC). Guests were Secretary of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West, Gurpreet Kaur Bhatia and Guest Zone – 4, Riya Singh Rajput who were welcomed with plant saplings and mementos.
The Board of Directors of Rotaract for the term 2022-’23 were introduced to the students during the Induction ceremony. KCC Rotaract Club members took the pledge of ‘No to Plastic-Yes to Paper.’ Paper bags were presented to the guests during the session.
KCC students were made aware of the objectives and achievements of Rotary International and Rotaract Clubs. Club members present on the occasion were informed about their responsibility towards the environment. The program was organized under the stewardship of Roteract President Afifa Jannat along with Director of the club Md Badr and included former President Dhananjay Singh and former Vice President Saket Sinha. They briefed the students about the Club. The program was anchored by Suryam. Prerna and Sarnendu Mahapatra enchanted the audience with their melodious renditions of songs while Ujma Bano attracted a resonating round of applause for her dance recital.
