Jamshedpur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed enthusiasm and confidence in its new leadership under Babulal Marandi, who was unanimously elected as the leader of the BJP Legislative Party. His election has sparked joy across the state, with BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan President Sudhanshu Ojha welcoming the decision and extending his congratulations.
In a press release, Ojha stated, “Babulal Marandi is not only a skilled organizer and experienced politician, but he is also a true son of the soil of Jharkhand. Under his leadership, the BJP will get new direction and strength. The party will struggle from the House to the streets to protect the interests of the people of the state and will play the role of an aware and effective opposition.”
Ojha further expressed confidence that Marandi’s governance experience and dedication will prove to be a milestone in Jharkhand’s development. He said, “Under his leadership, BJP will keep an eye on the work of the government as a strong opposition and will work with full strength and dedication to safeguard the interests of the state.”
BJP District General Secretary Anil Modi also congratulated Marandi, calling him a grassroots leader with a deep connection to the people of Jharkhand. He said, “Babulal ji is a combative politician who understands the pain of Jharkhandis very well. He is a politician with a simple and sociable nature. His organizational and legislative experience will greatly benefit the party, strengthening it both inside and outside the House.”
Baridih Mandal Media Incharge Pramod Mishra also welcomed the election of Marandi and said, “Under his leadership, the BJP will play its role as a strong opposition in the House. We hope that as Leader of the Opposition, Marandi will become the voice of the people of Jharkhand, raise public interest issues, oppose the anti-people actions of the government and ensure justice for the people.”
District BJP Headquarters Incharge Subodh Jha also extended his best wishes, stating, “Hon’ble Babulal Marandi ji will now strongly raise the voice of the people in the House and ensure justice.”
