BJP to organize Tiranga Yatra in Jamshedpur on Aug 7

Jamshedpur, July 24: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP is gearing up to organize Har Ghar Tiranga programme across East Singhbhum. The upcoming event is a part of BJP’s nationwide programme titled Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. It will run from 9^th August to 15^th August.

In view of the programme, members of Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP convened a meeting at Bhalubasa Ashish Kishore Sangh auditorium on Sunday. The meeting was presided over by the district BJP president Gunjan Yadav.

Addressing party members, Yadav said the Har Ghar Tiranga programme would be organized in all the 28 Mandal units of BJP in the district. A grand padyatra (march on foot) would be taken out from Aam Bagan ground in Sakchi on 7^th August.

“Thousands of party workers would participate in the event by carrying the Tricolour in their hands and singing patriotic songs. From 9^th to 12^th August, a Prabhat Pheri (morning procession) and public awareness campaign would be organized. During the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, people would be motivated and urged to install Tricolour on their housetops. Tricolours would be made available in all post offices by the Central government so that people do not face difficulty in getting them,” said Yadav.
