Gumla, April 24: In Gumla, amidst the fervor of the Lok Sabha elections, Gujarat CM Bhupendrabhai Patel emphasized the significance of electing a BJP government to tackle the issue of Naxalism. Speaking at a public meeting following the nomination of BJP candidate Sameer Oraon on Wednesday, CM Patel expressed confidence in PM Modi’s leadership for a third term. He urged the people of Jharkhand to support Sameer Oraon by voting for the BJP candidate from the Lohardaga parliamentary constituency on May 13, symbolized by the lotus flower, to ensure PM Modi’s continued tenure.
The public meeting, held at Gumla’s Karaundi garden, saw CM Bhupendrabhai Patel rallying the crowd, asserting that supporting the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections was pivotal for the state’s progress. He stressed the need for the BJP to emerge victorious not only in the Lok Sabha but also in the upcoming assembly elections, envisioning a double-engine government at the center and the state to propel Jharkhand’s development.
Reflecting on PM Modi’s governance, CM Patel highlighted the transformative initiatives undertaken by the Modi government, such as facilitating loans to women and farmers without requiring a guarantor. He commended PM Modi’s historic gesture of visiting the village of revolutionary Birsa Munda in Jharkhand, symbolizing his commitment to the welfare of every Indian.
Asserting the necessity of a BJP government to combat terrorism and Naxalism, CM Bhupendrabhai Patel underscored the party’s role in elevating India to the status of a developed nation. The event was attended by prominent figures including State President Babulal Marandi and Amar Bauri, among others.
Babulal Marandi slams India Alliance as anti-development
Gumla, April 24: In Gumla, BJP state president Babulal Marandi delivered a scathing critique of the India Alliance during his address at a meeting. Marandi labeled the alliance as anti-Jharkhand, accusing them of neglecting the state’s development. He asserted that the parties comprising the Indi Alliance, including the Congress Party, have consistently acted against the interests of Jharkhand.
Highlighting the contrast between the governance under the BJP-led government at the center and previous administrations, Marandi emphasized the strides made in development, such as the provision of roads and electricity to every village. In stark contrast, he alleged that the Congress and Indi Alliance governments prioritized corruption over progress, perpetuating a cycle of exploitation.
Reflecting on the BJP’s tenure in Jharkhand, Marandi recalled his leadership, along with Arjun Munda and Raghubar Das, during the 13-year stint of BJP rule. He claimed that their administration was free from corruption and land scams, in contrast to the accusations leveled against the current CM, Hemant Soren. Marandi accused Soren of involvement in sand looting and fraudulent sale of army land, leading to his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and subsequent charge sheet presentation.
Amar Bauri Vows to Preserve Reservation
Gumla, April 24: Leader of Opposition and former minister, Amar Bauri, paid tribute to the courageous sons of Gumla, emphasizing their revolutionary spirit. He expressed admiration for their contributions and acknowledged the significant progress made by the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bauri highlighted the development across all communities and urged support for BJP candidate Sameer Oraon in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on May 13th, aiming for victory.
In his address, Bauri criticized the Indi Alliance, alleging their lack of a coherent policy beyond advancing personal interests. He cautioned against their agenda, accusing them of prioritizing familial expansion over public welfare. Bauri also referenced the Congress manifesto, which reportedly includes proposals to abolish reservation policies. He firmly declared that such efforts would be vehemently opposed, asserting their commitment to safeguarding reservation rights.
Sudarshan Bhagat endorses Sameer Oraon for Lok Sabha
Gumla, April 24: Outgoing MP Sudarshan Bhagat expressed his familial connection to Lohardaga Lok Sabha candidate Sameer Oraon, referring to him as his younger brother. Drawing on his own experience of winning thrice from the Lohardaga parliamentary constituency with the support of the people, Bhagat urged voters to extend the same love, cooperation, and assistance to Sameer Oraon. He emphasized the importance of electing Oraon to secure victory for Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the third consecutive term.
Bhagat’s appeal resonated with a call to action for voters to participate actively in the electoral process on May 13th, advocating for Sameer Oraon’s success through maximum voter turnout.
