BJP pays tribute to Dr BR Ambedkar on his 66th death anniversary

Jamshedpur, Dec 6: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP members paid rich tributes to the architect of Indian Constitution, Dr Bheem Rao Ambedkar, on the occasion of his 66th death anniversary on Tuesday. They took out a foot march from the party office at Sakchi to Old Court roundabout where they garlanded a statue of Dr Ambedkar and raised patriotic slogans.
The chief guest of the occasion was the MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato. In his address, he said Dr Ambedkar was a historic personality who shaped the Indian Constitution and made provisions for the downtrodden classes of society.
The MP said the Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched numerous schemes for social welfare and was implementing them to ensure the rays of development reach the last man. He stressed the need to keep united and serve the poor.
District BJP president Gunjan Yadav said the BJP was fulfilling the dreams of the great visionaries of India. Under PM Modi’s leadership, the party is working on the principles of inclusive growth and social equality as told by Dr Ambedkar.
