BJP dist president meets SSP, demands speedy investigation, trial at fast track court

Jamshedpur, Aug 14: BJP district president Gunjan Yadav today met SSP Dr M Tamil Vanam along with the minor rape victim�s uncle and demanded speedy investigation and trial at the fast track court of the accused in the gang rape of a minor at the Theme Park in Telco. He also demanded protection for the victim�s family.

Earlier, Gunjan Yadav and other BJP officials met the family of the victim at their Birsanagar residence and assured them of the party�s support. The BJP Mahanagar president condemning the gang rape of the minor said that it was indeed shameful. He said, �The fate meted out to one of our sisters in Birsanagar is beyond all condemnations. Such occurrences at the Theme Park are matters of great shame for the city and citizens. The bad security arrangements including absence of adequate light facilities are questionable. If proper security cannot be provided then the Park should be locked.�

He said that the Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP is with the victim�s family and will try their utmost to provide them justice. Earlier Gunjan Yadav and other BJP officials met the family members of the girl and assured them of their support. The BJP Mahanagar president also went to the Birsanagar police station and sought details of the case and demanded that the remaining culprits be nabbed at the earliest.

The other BJP members who accompanied Gunjan Yadav were Sunil Kevat, Jitendra Mishra, Boltu Sarkar, Bablu Gope, Naresh Prasad, Abhimanyu Singh Chauhan and others.
