Ranchi: Pratul Shahdev, BJP state spokesperson, has raised concerns over the consistent targeting of Hindu religious sites during the tenure of the Hemant Soren government. Shahdev asserted that the state government should initiate a CBI investigation into the attacks on temples that have occurred over the past four years.
Pointing to the recent incident of vandalizing statues in temples in Mudma, Mandar, Shahdev emphasized that this is not an isolated occurrence. He cited previous instances of attacks on temples in various locations, including Jamshedpur, Palamu, Ranchi, and Bokaro, alleging that anti-social elements have been deliberately targeting religious places.
The BJP spokesperson called for a thorough and impartial CBI investigation to uncover the truth behind these attacks on temples, expressing concern over the apparent trend of such incidents under the current government’s watch.
