BJP celebrates victory in Jamshedpur with colors and cheers

Jamshedpur, June 4:  In a vibrant display of victory, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters gathered in large numbers outside the Co-operative College counting center in Jamshedpur, celebrating the lead of their candidate, Bidyut Baran Mahto, by over one lakh votes. The atmosphere was electric with the beats of drums and the air filled with colors as the party workers, including the women’s wing, rejoiced in the success. The BJP tent, set up near the counting center, became the epicenter of jubilation as chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ resonated from the early hours of the morning. Party leaders and workers, including the BJP Metropolitan President Sudhanshu Ojha and former district president Devendra Singh, were present to witness the unfolding of the results. As each round of counting tilted in their favor, the celebrations escalated, with people dancing with flags and cutout pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The area resembled a bustling fair with numerous food and drink stalls catering to the large crowds gathered in anticipation of the results. Amidst the excitement, vendors offered a variety of snacks and refreshments, ensuring that the security personnel could easily access breakfast and stay hydrated in the heat.

In stark contrast to the convivial mood, stringent security measures were in place to ensure the integrity of the counting process. Barricades restricted vehicle access near XLRI junction and the main gate of Co-operative College, with entry strictly limited to pass holders. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) maintained a vigilant presence, with only individuals bearing Election Commission-issued passes permitted through the gates. Senior officials, including SSP Kishore Kaushal and City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, were present on-site, overseeing the proceedings and ensuring that order was maintained throughout the event.
